Paula Pérez grew up between two worlds — the warmth and texture of Colombia, where homes are built with wood ceilings, handcrafted tile, and a natural layering of materials, and the classic architecture of New England, where clean lines and careful detail define the built environment. That early experience of living between two distinct design cultures gave her an eye for spaces that feel both collected and considered.

After studying Interior Architecture at Suffolk University in Boston, Paula deepened her expertise through hands-on work in wallcoverings and material selection, developing a precise understanding of how surface, texture, and finish transform a space. She founded Paula Perez Studio to offer clients a design experience that is personal, intentional, and grounded in the way people actually live.

Paula is a mom to Milán and dog mom to Chulo, and she brings that same real-life perspective to every project she takes on. Through the studio, she offers full-service design, virtual e-design, and design consultations for clients throughout Rhode Island, Boston, and New England.
